Four years ago, I had a dream to start a business and share my talents, and I did the thing most new entrepreneurs do.

I turned to look at what all the successful people in my field were doing, how were they marketing, how did they get started.

I dished out money on funnels, and ads, and landing pages, and all the things that seemed like they worked for others, so of course they would work for me.

I followed all the sales scripts, and wrote my marketing posts just like the experts suggested.

I sat staring at my screen every day wondering what content to write, what to do next.

And then I went on social media to see what others were doing and what the experts were saying my next step should be.

And while this provided mediocre results here and there, it didn’t feel good to me at all.

I felt like I was just desperately trying to get my gifts out into the world and willing to do anything anyone told me to get there.

And my creativity and passion were slowly dying.

No amount of positivity could help me at this point.

It wasn’t until I learned the power of authenticity that everything changed.

I stopped feeling like I had to do what everyone else was doing to succeed, and remembered why I started in the first place - to serve my tribe in a way that felt good for me.
I followed my own inner compass to create my own path, one that felt in integrity and alignment for me. My own authentic path.

Instead of feeling anxiety and worry about my business, it felt like the most liberating place in the world for me.

I was growing faster than ever before, and not just income wise, personally as an entrepreneur too.

My creativity and passion were on fire, and my energy boundless.
